Akufo-Addo tours new regions

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will today, Wednesday, 10 April 2019 begin the first phase of his 2019 national tour.

The tour provides the president with firsthand knowledge of developments and ongoing projects nationwide.

This year, Nana Akufo-Addo is starting with a five-day tour of three of the six new regions.

The first phase takes him to Western North, Bono East and Ahafo regions between 10 and 15 April.

The president is expected to commission projects, cut sod for the construction of several projects, inspect construction sites for new Regional Coordinating Councils, engage traditional leaders, the citizenry and participate in durbars and town hall meetings with identifiable groups and opinion leaders.
