Akufo-Addo’s ‘useless’ press encounter didn’t make any ‘sense’ to me – Joshua Akamba

National Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) fast-becoming notorious for his loose talk, Joshua Hamidu Akamba, has taken President of the Republic of Ghana to the cleaners over the recently held Presidential Encounter, calling the entire event a ‘useless waste of time’ and ‘senseless’; MyNewsGH.com has filed.

Mr Akamba was speaking on Nhyira FM where the host tried to discourage him from using foul language but Mr Akamba will not budge, insisting the host has no right to choose for him the kind of words he should use in describing President Akufo-Addo or the media encounter.

“It was completely useless and a waste of our taxpayers’ money. I wish I didn’t watch.” Asked by the host to check his words, he replied “Massa, massa, massa, can you tell me the meaning of useless? Can you tell me what it means in Twi? I mean it is useless. What I am saying is that yesterday he didnt make sense to me… tell him to do it in a better way.”

According to him, the encounter could be equated to what he termed a nation’s address wondering why the media even honoured the invitation to an event they never had the opportunity to ask questions.
