Akufo-Addo 'imported' coronavirus to Ghana - Kwame Dzokoto

Former NDC parliamentary candidate for the Tarkwa Nsuaem Constituency in the Western Region, Kwame Dzokoto, has chided President Akufo-Addo for lying to Ghanaians when he addressed the nation on Saturday, March 21, 2020.

According to him, the President has failed Ghanaians thus he has not done enough to control the widespread of coronavirus.

He stressed that, the number of confirmed cases as at the time the President was addressing the nation was 21 but he deducted and mentioned 19 just to portray that the measures he has put in place in the face of the outbreak are having an effect on the nation.

“Reality will force you to speak the truth to your people. At least it was only one lie tonite …the number is 21 today but he deducted his VAT and mentioned 19 …just to portray that his measures are having an effect”, Dzokoto wrote on his Facebook page sighted by Kingdomfmonline.com.

The popular Actor says President Akufo-Addo imported the virus to Ghana.

“Mr. President you only imported it but not the inventor …pls tell us the truth”, said Dzokoto.

He explained: “The closure will, however, not apply to goods”.

Some Ghanaians are really happy with the government’s decision to close all borders to control the spread of the Coronavirus disease.

Ghana has recorded 21 cases with a single death in the Coronavirus pandemic.
