Controversial man of God popularly christened “the Nation’s Prophet” Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah has tasked Ghanaians to look into their lives and see the changes and improvements President Akufo-Addo has brought.

The respected clergyman was reacting to news that a horn he gave President Akufo-Addo has led to hardship and difficulty. He says it is not true that his horn brought hardship and also that there is no hardship but instead “there is more improvement in the standards of living and I know perfectly well that since President Akufo-Addo took over the administration, his achievements far outweigh the NDC’s 8 years in government”.

He speaking on Okay FM’s “Ade Akye Abia” Morning Show watched by MyNewsGh.com.

He attacked the NDC for propagating falsehood about his horn which he maintains is a biblical symbol of leadership and anointing.

Rev. Bempah described NDC propagandists as “unlettered and ignorant about the Bible”, quoting Samuel’s anointing of David as King of Israel as an example.

“I heard that some NDC members claiming that the horn of strength I gave to our President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has brought hardship in the country. Some are even saying that there is an evil force in the horn fighting against Ghana and the government of Akufo-Addo,” he said.

“When I hear issues like this from the NDC, I realize that they are really ignorant about scripture. In the Bible, Samuel used a horn with oil in it to anoint David as a King, and so a horn is not an evil thing because most of the old prophets in the Bible used horns,” he explained.

While President Akufo-Addo has confirmed there is hardship, many of his appointees and sympathizers say otherwise.

This includes the two Owusu Bempahs in the president’s camp, Ursula Owusu among others.

Also, veteran Ghanaian highlife artiste, Lucky Mensah labelled those complaining of hardship in Akufo Addo’s era as “haters”

Lucky said in an interview first quoted by Zionfelix on Zylofon FM that, Nana Addo has done tremendously well in his short term as a president.

He emphasized that those who are not seeing the good things of the current president are from the opposition. According to him, the opposition will never see the good things that their opponent has done.

He dilated in nation-building, people should be patriotic and support good initiatives and give praises when necessary.
