Akufo-Addo To Sack Titus-Glover

Fall Out From NPP Flagbearer Not On GTV “Wahala”…

Intelligence Desk Report

One of the few Gas in Akufo-Addo’s campaign team, Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover is to be side-lined, for grossly embarrassing the flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) over the “Wahala” he caused for misleading the electorate public that the Ghana Television (GTV) intentionally did not cover Mr. Williams Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo, during the funeral of the late President John Evans Atta Fiifi Mills.

Nii Titus-Glover had been included in the Akufo-Addo campaign team as mollification for the Gas; and a bait of opaque re-assurance that he (Akufo-Addo) doesn’t have any anti-Ga agenda.

It would be recalled that, Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover and the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Tema East, Narh Samuel Evans Ashong lost the NPP constituency primaries to an Akyem called Kofi Brako, a clearing agent.

As part of the anti-Ga agenda, the hawks in the party (NPP) did everything possible to ensure that Mrs. Elizabeth Sackey also lost the Okaikwei North NPP primaries to an Ashanti, who is former President John Agyekum Kufuor’s nephew. Sources close to the NPP flagbearer told The Informer that, Nii Titus-Glover’s statement and the GTV reaction showed that Nana Akufo-Addo was indeed covered by the GTV, filing past the mortal remains of the late President John Mills, but could not be seen because he was in a company of human-giants like ex-President John Kufuor, certificate-less Jake Otanka Obetsebi-Lamptey and Mr. John Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen.

The decision by the Nana Akufo-Addo to sack Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover from his campaign team, according to this paper’s credible sources within the NPP, is in tune with the NPP’s general strategy to deal with people of Ga and Ewe extractions, in the unlikely event that they come to power, as unwittingly revealed by the Assin North MP, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong. The Informer hopes that Akufo-Addo exhibits his so-called decisiveness to deal with Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover, in efforts to bring some level of decency into his campaign by whipping those speaking on his behalf in line, like the aforementioned person.

Below is the unedited attack Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover launched on GTV and President John Dramani Mahama which has brought so much embarrassment to Nana Akufo-Addo, hence the decision to sack him from the campaign team of the NPP flagbearer.

NPP blames Mahama and GTV over ‘no show’ of Nana Addo in coverage The New Patriotic Party has blamed President Mahama and Directors of Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, for deliberately not capturing their presidential candidate Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo in the television coverage on the first day of the late president's funeral.

A member of the NPP communication team, Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover said the NPP was shocked at the attitude of the state broadcaster and will file a complaint with the National Media Commission in order to correct it.

He described the development as unacceptable, knowing that the state broadcaster is funded with tax payer’s resources. Mr. Titus-Glover said they have the feeling the camera crew was probably took instruction from higher authorities.

He challenged the president to come out and state his position on the issue if he had nothing to do with it.

The member of the NPP communication team rejected the suggestion that the cameras may have missed Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo because he was short in height; rather he said it was impossible for other members of Nana Addo’s delegation to be captured but miss Nana Addo.
