Akufo-Addo Doesn’t Have A Drop Of Blood Tainted With Cocaine - Physician

A certified medical practitioner says he can officially state that Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo, flag bearer of the opposition NPP does not even have a minute drop of cocaine in his blood. He claims as a medical doctor who has handled several cases of drug abuse and addicts, he can attest to the fact that Nana Addo is not a drug addict.

Dr. Kobina Arthur Kennedy says he is certain that Nana Addo has never been under the influence of drugs.

Speaking on CitiFM’s Big Issues programme, the physician revealed that Nana Addo told him on countless occasions in their private conversations that he has never tasted or sniffed cocaine before.

“Clinically, I can recognize when one is under the influence of drugs but I can confirm that Nana Addo is not a drug addict, I can bet that there is nothing in his blood,” he said.

The flag bearer of the opposition NPP, Nana Akufo Addo, has had the cocaine tag around his neck like a hangman’s noose. And for the first time, the NPP flagbearer made a public pronouncement on what he described as a smear campaign against his personality when addressing the opening ceremony of a three day youth NPP conference in Tamale.

Nana Addo dared his critics to prove with empirical evidence that he is a drug addict or shut up and stop attacking his personality.

Dr. Arthur Kennedy, disclosed that Nana Addo did not respond to the accusations initially because he felt it was unnecessary and the allegations, far-fetched.

“I personally advised Nana Addo in 2008 to respond to the accusations when it started but he said it was not necessary because people will not believe it (that he was a drug addict),” he noted.

The former Communications Director for Nana Addo’s Campaign in the 2008 General Elections, also called on the NDC to stop the politics of insults and character assassination and focus on the core duty of developing the country.

But the Deputy Minister for Water Resources, Works and Housing, Dr. Hannah Bissiw, who was a panelist on the same programme, questioned the credibility of Dr. Arthur Kennedy’s medical assessment.

According to her, the confirmation provided by his college in the medical profession is nothing to go by because Dr. Kennedy was on the program as a politician not a physician.
