Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam constituency of NDC elects executives

Ajumako (C/R), Oct. 12, GNA - The Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam constituency branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has elected Mr Kobina Kwansah as its chairman, at a delegate's congress held at Ajumako. He polled 129 votes to beat Mr Robert sonny Amoah, who had 95 votes, while the vice Chairmanship position went to Mr George Harrison. In his acceptance speech, Mr Kwansah expressed his appreciation to the delegates and assured that he will live up to expectation and help move the party forward.

He called on members to burry their differences and focus on a serious membership drive.

The election was supervised by the Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam district electoral Officer, Mr Fiifi Caiquoe.

Also elected at the congress include Mr Andrews K. Dodoo, as Secretary, who polled 129 votes against 98 by Mr Solomon F. Kobbina. Mr Edward Wilson was elected the Assistant Secretary, while Miss Susana Bortsie became the Treasurer.

Other are Mr Joseph K. Mensah, Organiser, Bright Abaka Mensah, Propaganda Secretary, Ishmael Prah, Youth Organiser and Theresa Baah as women Organiser.
