Agortime Traditional Council Offers Land For EPZ

Agortime-Kpetoe (V/R) The Agortime Traditional area has offered 10,000 acres of land for the establishment of an Export Processing Zone in the Volta region. Nene Nuer Keteku the third, Kornor of Agortime traditional area, made the offer in a press statement issued at Agortime-Kpetoe. He said the offer was discussed at a durbar at the weekend in response to an appeal made by the Ghana Free Zones Board. Nene Keteku assured the Board that the land is free of litigation and urged it to accept the offer which he described as a "golden opportunity for the area". The Volta, Eastern and Central regions have been selected for the establishment of one processing zone each.
