Aduana Stars have opted for the Cape Coast Sports Stadium as an alternative for their CAF Champions League campaign.

The Ghana Champions have already began a facelift of their favorite Nana Agyemang Badu II stadium in Dormaa which is expected to host their home matches in the competition.

Ghanasportsonline.com’s sources at the Club reveal officials will look to host their home games at the Cape Coast Stadium should the edifice in Dormaa fails to meet the standard by CAF.

Officials of CAF will arrive in Ghana to inspect the facilities at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.

The arena was a fortress for Clubs in the Ghana Premier League as the two-time Champions went unbeaten at home last season.

The Club could however be forced to shift their home matches to the Cape Coast Stadium for the CAF Champions League next year should their favorite venue fail to be ready before February next year.

Aduana Stars have been paired with Libyan Club Al Tahaddy in the preliminary round of the inter-club competition.
