Adongo counters Bawumia’s Town Hall meeting on Thursday

Member of Parliament (MP) for Bolgatanga Central, Isaac Adongo is set to hold a public lecture on Thursday April 4, 2019 about a post-mortem of Ghana’s four-year Extended Credit Facility Programme (ECF) with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and a preview of the economy after the IMF has finally exited.

The lecture under the auspices of The Coalition For Restoration (CFR), a pressure group affiliated to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is under the theme “Ghana’s rising fiscal risks, financial crunch and external vulnerabilities: A postmortem of the Extended Credit Facility (ECF) Programme and a preview of the economy without the International Monetary Fund (IMF)”

Former President John Dramani Mahama is the Guest of Honour with Hon. Betty Mould Iddrisu, Former Attorney General and Minister of Justice as the Chairperson and will be held at Mensvic Hotel, East Legon, Accra.

Adongo’s lecture will come exactly a day after Head of the Economic Management Team and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia holds his Town Hall meeting to give detailed account of the country’s economy.

It has been christened “our progress, our status, our future” aimed at demolishing the propaganda of the minority about the true state of the Ghanaian economy geared towards the President’s vision of Ghana beyond aide.
