Accra bourse Index drops as bearish sentiments persist

Accra, Jan. 26, GNA - The GSE All-Share Index, the main measure of performance of the Exchange, slumped in trading on Monday as bearish sentiments persisted on the bourse. The index ended trading at 10,183.40 points from 10,220.99 on Friday.

Traded volumes started the week at 608,200 shares while market capitalisation began at GH¢17,848.84 million. There were two price changes, one up and one down. CAL Bank lost GH¢0.15 at GH¢0.45 while Starwin Products Limited gained GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.05 The change year to date plunged to -2.38 per cent.
