Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC, has hinted at plans to drag Seth Sewornu, a Ghanaian Criminal Investigation Department (CID) officer, before the United Nations (UN) and other international bodies involved in security matters for unprofessionalism.
According to Abronye DC, his decision to take the CID officer to the international community stems from what he described as unprofessional conduct on the part of the police officer.
Speaking on Ohia TV on October 8, 2025, in relation to his recent arrest and detention, Abronye alleged that the said CID officer acted unprofessionally and vowed to petition the international community by Monday, October 13, 2025.
"Latest by Monday, I will petition Seth Sewornu to the UN over his conduct and to all the appropriate international bodies. Within Ghana and outside Ghana, anywhere I can petition him, either in Africa or the world, I will do it because he is an unprofessional police officer," Abronye stated.
Abronye was granted bail of GH¢1 million with two sureties after his arrest on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, on fresh charges of publishing false news with the intent to create fear and panic, and offensive conduct.
