The opening prayer for the occasion was led by both Reverend Canon Koomson and Dr. Gabriel Amoateng-Boahen of the Church of the Ghanaian Community of Chicago. The officiating Minister for the naming was Rev. Dr. Kofi Nonoo. In a brief sermon, he reminded members of the community that capital punishment is not a good choice to use in punishing their children. He cited other means such as withholding the child's favorite toy, TV , other play items and timeouts as better ways of dealing with child truancy and disobedience.
Music was provided by,DJ Kingsley, who has quickly matured into a very seasoned spinner.
Mr. & Mrs Bugei express their thanks to all for the support in kind and cash.
The closing prayer was offered by Rev.Amos Oladipo of the African Methodist United Church.
