Abena Agyeman-Bugyei @ 40

Chicago, March 22 2014: The spot light was beamed on Abena Agyeman-Bugyei as she celebrated her 40th birthday with a grand party at St. Ailbe's Catholic Church, 9047 S. Harper, Chicago, IL 60619. The Ghanaian Community here showed up in massive numbers to support the celebrant, Abena Agyeman-Bugyei and his family.

The Party could only be described through testimonies, positive gestures and kudos from guests, because no amount of adjectives can describe its success. Her pink-n-gold theme colors flowed through the amazingly decorated party hall courtesy of Sankofa Decorations, Linda/Vida Agyemang.

The temperature at the party hall rose by “20 F degrees” when the celebrant Abena Agyeman-Bugyei (aka Adiepena) danced her way in with Mavis' "Aseda Nnwom" song. She was supported by her husband Ernest Bugyei, her parents Mr. & Mrs. Barnieh Agyeman, her extended family and some specially invited guests. The celebrant looked very gorgeous, her makeup was classily angelic, her dress was very elegant, her dance moves were algorithmically beautiful. She danced all night long in expressing thanksgiving to God. There was a special red carpet moment where almost every guest had a photo shoot with the celebrant. Drinks-n-chops were the buffet type, with no restrictions.

Adiepena's 40th birthday party was a true success and one of a kind the Ghanaian community has witnessed for a very long time. The aftermath party fever translated into a record breaking hits for 100s of photos posted on facebook per comments, likes, tags, etc.

The manager of the “floor” and organizer of the party, Mr. Victor Boafo became the toast in town for his floor managerial skills. The party was emceed by the ebullient Nana Yaw Marfo, with best music provided by DJ Bonsu who revealed why he is the hottest DJ for great functions all over Chicagoland as he released the best collections of dance tunes to the delight of the celebrant and revelers. Mr. and Mrs. Berko Akoto were there to cover the event for the African Spectrum newspaper and website.
