AGOA's 10th Anniversary Celebration - US Congress, Washington DC

Capitol Hill, Washington DC -- US Trade Representative Ron Kirk, Congressional Leaders and African Ambassadors to the United States celebrated 10th anniversary of the passing of the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA), On Wednesday; May 12, 2010. The ceremony occurred in Room 1100; Longworth House Office
Building, Capitol Hill.

The occasion also recognized some of the personalities who were instrumental
in making AGOA a success and among those included; Congressmen; McDermott,
Rangel, Payne, Ms Rosa Whitaker of Whitaker Group (Recognized as the mother
of AGOA) and a host of other dignitaries.
