AFRICAN LIFESTYLES: An Ambassador and a Businessman

On Saturday November 22, 2003 at 2.30pm, Africanlife Styles in cooperation with the Embassy of Ghana in Washington,DC will continue its engagement on African issues on PAX TV (WPXW- TV) for viewers within the Washinton,DC Metroplitan Area.

The lead guest this time is a distinguished woman-Her Excellency Pitra Diakite, Angola's ambassador to the United States.

After a war of blood that led to the independence of this former Portugese colony on November 11, 1975, this otherwise rich country but noted globally for post-independent wars with rebels is on the road to recovery.Her Excellency Diakite discusses the way forward and the hopes and aspirations of her country with ace interviewer Hilton Flye.There are also scenes of the Washington, DC independence anniversary.

The second part of the programme features a Ghanaian businessman Osei Danquah who manufactures skin lotions and other creams for especially ladies.Some says he encourages bleaching of the skill in Africa but he thinks otherwise. Enjoy your week-end with Africanlife Styles.
