A1 bread rewards another vendor with a car

As part of the celebration of its one year anniversary, management of A1 Bakery is acknowledging efforts of their vendors as it has once again given away a car.

Few days after Janet Mensah, a vendor at Kasoa toll booth won a Kia Picanto for her hard work, another, Evelyn Sai has benefited from the ‘A1 Share Happiness’ as she was gifted a car, Friday.

According to Vice President, Edward Nana Poku (Hammer), the company deems it necessary to recognize how the vendors have contributed to the success of the organization; hence the gesture.

He indicated that the organization will reward vendors with cars and home appliances every month till end of the year.

A1 Bakery is owned by Godfred Obeng Boateng. The product of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and his company shot to fame after actor, John Dumelo shared a photograph of him asking why he was on the streets selling bread.

His post attracted a backlash from a section of the public who concluded he had scorned the businessman.

A1 Bakery has branches in Accra and Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi where it started operations. It employs about six hundred young people who work at its warehouses.
