It has emerged that the pieces of information put out there by Kwame A plus after he visited the office of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service were all lies.

It would be recalled that the CID extended a formal invitation to the vociferous supporter of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), to give a statement regarding alleged creation of a fake Facebook account in the name of the Executive Chairman of State Enterprise Commission (SEC), Mr. Stephen Asamoah Boateng a.k.a Asabee; and running mischief with the said account. He was also accused of publishing libelous words against the former Information Minister.

A Plus, however, in a statement after honouring the invitation indicated he stormed the CID headquarters looking very furious and told the officers to stop acting as if they could arrest him the in the case. He said he was not an ordinary person for anyone to intimidate.

"Yesterday I got to the CID headquarters very angry. I told the police to stop acting as if they can arrest me in this case. I made it very clear to them, Masa stop pretending that you can arrest me. You can't. I've not committed any crime. I also made it very clear to them that if it were any ordinary person they would have locked the person up by now just because one big man reported a case. I'm not ordinary and nobody can intimidate me in this country", A Plus wrote in portions of his statement.

A Plus said, he also met with the Director in charge of the Cyber Crime Unit of the CID, ACP Dr. Gustav Herbert Yankson who spoke calmly with him to end the feud between him and Asabee, which he obliged because according to him, “he used bible verses and all to speak to me like a small brother”.

Meanwhile, when contacted to get his side of what actually was discussed during A Plus' visit to the CID headquarters, Dr. Yankson in shot said: "I never said this".
