564 students graduate from University College

A graduation ceremony has been held by the Christian Service University College (CSUC) for 564 students after completion of approved programmes, culminating in the award of degrees and diploma.

They pursued programmes in Theology, various options in Business Administration, Computer Science and Communication Studies.

Forty-two (42) of them passed with first-class honours, 121 received second-class upper and 303, second class lower. Ninety-five (95) had third class and three with passes.

“CSUC @ 40; Growing and renewing our identity”, was the theme.

Professor Mrs. Frances Owusu-Darku, President of the University, said it would relentlessly pursue the vision of becoming a leading evangelical Christian tertiary institution, promoting knowledge through the training of people with moral uprightness, academic excellence and passion to serve to transform society.

Prof Owusu-Darku said the University had diligently worked towards this goal over the years by continually improving teaching and learning, upgrading infrastructure among others.

She said CSUC was determined to strengthen its local and global partnerships and linkages with world class universities in joint research and training.

The University was already in partnership with the Eastern University in Pennsylvania, United States on its PhD programme in Organizational Leadership in Ghana.

There was also the aspect of student exchange agreement with that same American University, she said.
