The dastardly murder of the investigative journalist, Ahmed Hussein-Suale, continues to generate attention from many Ghanaians and many more from across the world.

Hussein-Suale was last Wednesday, January 16, 2019, shot twice in the chest and once in the neck, reportedly killing him instantly.

The family of the investigative journalist, on Monday, January 21, 2019, held a press conference and urged the general public to assist the police catch the killers.

Ahmed was an instrumental contributor in the undercover investigations that exposed corruption in football in Ghana and across the continent in a documentary called Number 12.

So far, New Patriotic Party (NPP) MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, has been tagged a prime suspect over his comments made months before the victims’ demise.

“They want to distract the police so that they will focus on me so the very people who committed the murder will run away,” Kennedy Agyapong said in an interview on Asempa FM.

As the police continue to investigate and find the killers of the journalist, the MP has also accused Anas Aremeyaw Anas of having knowledge about who caused the death of his colleague.
