4 Caught Mixing Cement With Sand

Four cement dealers are in trouble for allegedly attempting to bribe the police over a case of adulterated cement.

Two of them, Godfred Teye and Mawutor Quist, were arrested when they offered GH?300 (?3million) bribe to the police who caught their colleagues, Joseph Cudjoe and Paul Cobbina, retagging Ghacem Cement mixed with sand for sale to the public.

Briefing newsmen here yesterday, ACP John Kudalor, Tema Regional Police Commander, said that at 4am yesterday, a police patrol team chanced upon some people behind the Engen Filling Station near the Meridian Hotel in Tema repacking cement.
