33rd Victim Of Serial Killing Recorded

Just when Ghanaians thought the issue of serial killings were over, another one has resurfaced. Yesterday at a spot on the Accra-Dodowa Road, the body of the 33rd victim, a woman identified as Janet Aku Davordzi, a petty trader was found not far from her house.

According to Chief Superintendent David Asante-Apeatu, Crime analyst and leader of Crime Scene Investigations, the body was found in a supine position just as in the cases of the previous other women.

He said, " the woman was half naked from the abdomen downwards, her slit and top, having been pushed up to cover her face." Madam Davordzie was reported to have left home at about 8 P.M on Wednesday with the excuse of checking on something. She never returned until Thursday morning when her body was found.

The body has been taken to the Police Hospital for autopsy whilst Police investigations continue. Over a period of Four Years, 33 persons have been murdered with any culprit yet to be arrested.

The last but one victim was found on a farm at Dzornaman a village near Ashalley Botwe in Accra two months ago.
