32-year-old woman pleads for support to pay for surgery

The family and friends of Jamila Alfa, a resident of Kumasi, are calling on the public for assistance to save the life of the young lady who is currently battling with kidney failure.

The 32-year-old lady has been battling with the illness since last year and would need an amount of GH¢150, 000 for surgery in India.

Ms. Alfa, according to doctors, will lose her life in five months if the surgery is not carried out within the period.

A medical report from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital indicated that,she is being managed as a case of End Stage Renal Disease Secondary to Chronic Glomerulonephritis and currently on a chronic hemodialysis, twice a week.
