26 babies born on Christmas day in Central Region

Winneba (C/R) Dec. 26 GNA - Twenty-six babies comprising 12 boys and= 14 girls, were recorded at three health institutions in the Central Region o= n Christmas and Boxing days.

The health institutions are the Kasoa Health Centre, Winneba Governm= ent Hospital and the Our Lady of Grace at Breman Asikuma.

Ghana News Agency that the health facility recorded five births on Christ= mas day and one on Boxing day.

At the Our Lady of Grace Hospital at Breman Asikuma, Sister Juliana Quason, Senior Superintendent Midwife of the hospital said six births wer= e recorded on Christmas day and two on Boxing Day.
