23-year-old drug peddler arrested in the Eastern Region

The Police at Akim Takrowase has arrested a 23-year old suspected drug dealer for possessing substances believed to be Indian hemp (wee) and cocaine.

Yaw Agyekum was arrested upon a tip off by a whistle blower.

According to the police, a search to the deceased home at Akim Wenchi discovered the suspected narcotic drugs.

Razzonline.com is reliably informed that, the twenty-one wrappers of the alleged Indian hemp was found under the suspects mattress with the cocaine found hidden in the ceiling in his room.

In an interview with Razzonline.com's, Grace Afumwaa, the Eastern Regional Police PRO, ASP Ebenezer Tetteh said the alleged narcotic drugs have been seized with the suspect in police custody awaiting to be arraigned before court on Tuesday, 17th July, 2018.
