The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released the Senior High School (SHS) placement of students who took their Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in 2025.

A letter issued by the GES to all its Regional Directors of Education on September 18, 2025, announced the official release of the 2025 Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) results.

The Service indicated that all students placed are to report to their schools on Saturday, October 18, 2025.

It cautioned school authorities against changing the placement of students without any authorisation.

“Admission of students should strictly follow the placement list generated by the CSSPS Secretariat. No school is permitted to admit students outside the official placement without prior written approval from GES.

“Placed students are to report to their schools from 18th October, 2025.

“Heads of schools are to ensure that registration is conducted smoothly and in accordance with the guidelines provided… Any infraction, including unauthorised admissions, will attract the necessary administrative sanctions,” part of the letter read.

To check the placement of a candidate, log in to the Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) portal (www.cssps.gov.gh).

After logging in, click on the ‘Check Placement’ button.

After clicking on ‘Check Placement’, students are required to sign in using their Index Number and Date of Birth before they will be able to access their school.
