2020 polls: My wise counsel to Mahama would've been to abort the idea of contesting - Ofori Amponsah

Highlife Musician, Ofori Amponsah says he would have advised John Dramni Mahama not to contest for 2020 elections.

According to him, Mahama has done his bit for the country and the best he could have done was to support others in order for them become good leaders.

He made this known when he spoke on Accra-based Happy FM.

“If I were him, I will not contest again. He has done too much for us, he should rather be behind and push others. Those advising him are different but if I were to advise him, he should channel his energy and knowledge to helping the young ones. That’s my opinion. But if he thinks he has an unfinished job and wants to continue, that is in the hands of Ghanaians.”
