2019 NCSQuiz about to take shape after official launch

The official media launch of the 2019 edition of the National Core Subjects Quiz- NCSQuiz was held on Friday, 29th March 2019 at the Assembly hall of the Presbyterian Boys' SHS - PRESEC, Legon.

The theme for the 2019 edition has been dubbed; "Public Education; an Essential Factor For Significant Impact, Growth And Development Of Ghana".

A total of 38 participating schools from the Greater Accra Region, Central Region, Eastern Region, Ashanti Region and the Volta Region were present and very expectant for a great event, especially the Balloting of schools for the 2019 NCSQuiz. The schools were inspired and challenged by the guest speakers to do their possible best to excel in their studies. It was indeed an unforgettable experience!

The 3rd edition of the NCSQuiz will commence on Monday, 15th April 2019 to Friday 3rd May 2019, having the registered schools from various regions engaging in healthy academic competitions for excellence and supremacy as they fly high the flags of their schools and exalt their respective regions.

Special representatives of the Main Sponsors for the year's quiz competition; Mr. Isreal Nornyibey And Mr. Innocent Kpetsigo Of Bic Ghana And Mr. Sylvester Kwame Osei of RMG Ghana Limited also shared on 'why' their respective brands have chosen to be an immense blessing to the younger generations via the NCSQuiz initiative even as they left all in attendance inspired to take education at heart. The event also featured special art presentations like Classical Musical Interludes and more, not forgetting the numerous media houses that came on board to make the event meet its expectations.

The event had Rev. Erasmus Mensah Laryea, Resident Minister of PIWC and Chemistry Teacher at PRESEC, LEGON as the Chairman of the event as well as many wonderful guests including UK-Based Ghanaian International Singer; Queen of Jazz, Stephanie Benson, 1st Runner-up - 2018 Ghana Teachers Prize, Mrs. Augusta Lartey-Young, Ghanaian Actress, TV/Radio Presenter and Host - Adom TV, Cynthia Tima Yeboah, Circuit Supervisor - GES Abelenkpe District, Mrs. Mercy Asamoah, renowned Actor, Director, Presenter and Passionate Preacher, Ps. Timothy Bentum, Representative - United Nations Population Fund, Miss Akosua Adubea amongst other distinguished guests who graced the event.
