2019 Lycee Francais Jacques Prevert open day slated for February 9

Saturday 9th February 2019 has been announced by management of Lycee Francais Jacques Prevert, popularly known as the French School, as the date for this year’s edition of its annual Open Day event.

The day is set aside by the school authorities to host members of the general public as well as all other relevant stakeholders to get them closer to the school and give them a deeper insight into the school’s academic structure and other processes.

Between 9am to 12noon, members of the general public will be allowed to inspect the school’s facilities via a special guided tour.

In addition, there will be interaction sessions with trained and experienced teachers and other professional staff on a wide range of subjects.

There will also be a presentation on the school’s curriculum which is centred on developing strong analytical skills, oral communication, autonomy, sense of organization and reasoning.

As the only French accredited international school in Ghana, Lycee Francais Jacques Prevert has a multicultural student population and environment which will be experienced at first hand by guests on the day.

Speaking about the event, the principal of the school, Mr. David Ballieu said that “Lycee Francais Jacques Prevert offers a complete program from nursery to the final year of high school. Being the only accredited French educational institution in Ghana, it is an integral part of a network of French institutions managed by the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE) which is responsible for the supervision of 496 institutions in 137 countries and enrols more than 335.000 students worldwide. I will entreat parents to enrol their children at Lycee Francais Jacques Prevert for excellent results in French exam, excellence in the preparation of French and English language certificate leading to further studies in the best French and international schools and universities”.

On Saturday 9th February 2019, all roads lead to the Lycée Français Jacques Prévert is located at East Legon, not far from GT- bank or Miklin hotel for the 2019 Open Day between 9am and 12noon.
