Ejisu (Ash), March 6, GNA - The Ejisu-Juaben Municipal Chief Executi= ve (MCE), Mr. Ahmed Boakye-Agyeman, has urged the country's youth to cherish=
the values of discipline, sincerity and hard work.
They should also take advantage of the sacrifices the government and=
parents are making towards their education and study hard to build successful careers for their future. He was addressing a parade of school children to mark the 53rd anniversary celebration of the nation's independence at Ejisu. On hand, were 2,165 school children, drawn from 38 Junior and Senior=
High Schools in the municipality.
This year's celebration was held under the theme: "Investing in the youth for a better future." Mr. Boakye-Agyeman used the occasion to draw attention to the need f= or them to observe high standards of environmental sanitation. He announced the decision by the Municipal Assembly to make the peop= le "pay for refuse collection."
