Rakia, the ex-girlfriend of a man in his mid-thirties named Clement, has vehemently contested his public demands for a financial refund.
Clement, in an earlier appearance on the Oyerepa Afutuo show, indicated that he is demanding a sum of over GH¢150,000 from his former partner, alleging that he single-handedly funded her entire teacher training college education during their relationship.
In a video sighted by GhanaWeb on June 3, 2026, Clement presented detailed records of expenses spanning four years, insisting that the support was an investment in their future together.

Rakai, in a counter reaction to the claim, appeared on the show to tell her side of the story.
Addressing the issue of GH¢150,000 education sponsorship, she gave a detailed breakdown of how much she believes she owed her ex-boyfriend.
She maintained that she never explicitly asked him to spend the money and stressed that she is willing to repay the principal amount but will not continue the relationship.
“My feelings towards him have changed,” she said.
The development has sparked intense online debate with many netizens criticising Clement for “investing” heavily in the relationship.
