Parliament of Ghana is set to resume sitting on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at 10 a.m., following an announcement by Speaker Alban Bagbin confirming the start of the Third Meeting of the Second Session of the Ninth Parliament of the Fourth Republic.

The Office of the Speaker announced the resumption date in a statement issued by Bagbin on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, directing Members of Parliament to reconvene at Parliament House in Accra.

The notice was issued pursuant to Order 58 of Parliament’s Standing Orders, which provides for the formal notification of parliamentary meetings.

“Pursuant to Order 58 of the Standing Orders of the Parliament of Ghana,” the statement said, “I, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, Speaker of Parliament, hereby give notice that the third meeting of the fourth session of the eighth parliament of the fourth Republic shall commence on Tuesday, the 3rd day of November, 2026 at ten o’clock in the forenoon at Parliament House, Accra.”

The November 3 sitting will bring lawmakers back to the House for the next meeting of the current parliamentary session, where parliamentary business is expected to resume.
