Flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has said that the NPP will come into the 2028 election with costed ideas.

He says the National Democratic Congress’ failure has taught the Ghanaian people the need for them not to trust lofty promises from political parties.

The NPP flagbearer assured the Ghanaian people that in 2028, the party will come up with costed ideas that are practical and workable to ensure that they deliver.

“Promises made to win power must be promises we can keep because time tests every promise. Today there is something called a few moments later.

Everything you say is on the internet, so if you are given the mandate and you fail to deliver, the Ghanaian people will play your promises back to you.

NDC made so many lofty promises in opposition, but today they have been exposed as being incompetent at fulfilling their promises. So we will go into the 2028 elections with costed ideas, practical ideas, and workable ideas. That is the lesson for all Ghanaians and all political parties,” he said at the Party’s Thanksgiving Service in Sunyani.
