Scores of New Patriotic Party (NPP) faithful have shared their views on who they prefer as the party’s flagbearer ahead of the primaries scheduled for January 31, 2026.

In a vox pop conducted by GhanaWeb’s Victoria Kyei-Baffour, the majority of NPP supporters expressed their support for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and Kennedy Agyapong.

NPP Primaries: Bawumia stretches lead, projected to win 15 out of 16 regions in new poll

According to them, Dr Bawumia deserves to win the race because of his vision for the country, as well as his experience in government, having served as Vice President.

Others also rooted for Kennedy Agyapong, citing his idea for job creation and economic empowerment for Ghanaians if given the mandate to lead the party into the 2028 general elections.
