The Inspector General of Police, Christian Tetteh Yohonu, is currently briefing the media on a significant breakthrough in an armed robbery case in Atebubu.

According to the IGP, the operation marks a major success in ongoing efforts by the Ghana Police Service to combat violent crime and dismantle robbery syndicates operating within the area.

He indicated that several suspects have been arrested following coordinated intelligence-led operations, with further investigations ongoing to apprehend additional accomplices and recover stolen items.

The police leadership has assured the public of sustained security operations to curb robbery incidents and enhance safety in the Atebubu enclave and surrounding communities.
