The Member of Parliament for Korle Klottey, Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, has appeared before Parliament’s Appointments Committee for her vetting as the Minister-designate for Environment, Science and Technology.

During the exercise, she is expected to answer questions on her professional background, experience, policy priorities and vision for the ministry.

The vetting will also allow the committee to assess her understanding of the challenges facing the sector and how she intends to support the government’s policy agenda if approved by Parliament.

Members of the committee are expected to scrutinise her qualifications, competence and suitability for the position.
