There is heavy traffic congestion at the VALCO Roundabout in Tema following the overturn of a fuel tanker with registration number GN 4978–12 in the area.

According to a report by the Daily Graphic, the incident happened on the morning of Friday, March 27, 2026.

The incident, according to the portal, occurred around 5 am as the vehicle was travelling from the motorway intersection and heading toward the Harbour Roundabout.

The overturned tanker blocked sections of the road, forcing commuters to endure long delays during the morning rush.

Authorities are yet to confirm the cause of the accident, but emergency services have been deployed to the scene to manage traffic and ensure public safety.
