A former armed robber who claims to have abandoned his criminal past has made a startling allegation about the alleged spiritual practices of some pastors and politicians in Ghana.
In a video sighted by GhanaWeb and shared on X on December 27, 2025, the young man whose identity remains unknown, claimed that certain individuals in positions of power engage in occult and ritualistic acts in pursuit of wealth, fame and political influence.
According to the ex-robber, some politicians allegedly “rent dead bodies” from mortuaries and take them home to perform rituals.
He further alleged that others procure used sperms from prostitutes for ritual purposes, while some even sleep with dead bodies as part of supposed spiritual rites aimed at securing power and recognition.
He also extended the allegations to some religious leaders, claiming that a number of pastors are involved in similar practices to enhance their spiritual authority and influence over congregations.
“Some of the politicians come and rent dead bodies and take them home for rituals. Others also buy sperms from prostitutes for rituals. Most of them sleep with dead bodies all because of power and fame,” he alleged.

The former armed robber specifically mentioned Kumasi, alleging that he personally knows four pastors in the city who are involved in various ritualistic acts.
He claimed that one pastor allegedly sleeps with dead bodies, other buys sperms from prostitutes, while others bathe with water used on dead bodies.
“In Kumasi I know four pastors, one sleeps with death bodies, one buys sperms from prostitute and others bath with water from death bodies.”
He warned the public to be cautious in their associations and spiritual choices, suggesting that if people truly understood what went on behind the scenes, they would avoid certain places and personalities.
In addition to the ritual claims, the young man spoke about what he described as “spiritually manipulated wealth,” alleging that some individuals possess significant amounts of money but are mysteriously unable to spend more than a small amount on themselves or help close family members, even though they freely assist outsiders.
“We have some people; they have plenty monies but they can’t spend more than 30 cedis a day. They can use the money to help others but not their own family members.”
