The Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC, has been released by the Ghana Police Service following his arrest on Monday, April 13, 2026.

He was in the company of leading figures of the party, including the Minority Leader, Alexander Kwamena Afenyo-Markin; Deputy Minority Chief Whip, Jerry Ahmed Shaib; and the National Organiser of the party, Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B), among others.
