Torino turn attention to Ghana’s Chibsah

Torino have turned their attention to Ghanaian midfielder Yussif Chibsah Raman of Sassuolo after failing to sign Jasmin Kurtic.

Goal Ghana can reveal that Torino manager Gianpiero Ventura has been a big fan of the Ghanaian who is struggling at Sassuolo this season and is ready to sign him after the club declined to sell the Slovenia international.

Chibsah has failed to shine this season and has barely featured in a high flying Sassuolo team who are positioned in the middle of the Serie A table.

Should Sassuolo agree to sell Chibsah outright or release him on loan to Torino, it will be good news for him as he eyes more playing time in the rest of the term.

Genoa are also monitoring his situation and could also sign him before the winter transfer period ends, Goal understands.
