John Pantsil eyes Russia or Asia move

Ghana defender John Pantsil says he will not hesitate to join a club in Russia or Asia.

The right-back has been unattached since terminating his contract with English Championship side Leicester City over lack of game time.

The 31-year-old parted ways with the Foxes in May, just nine months into his three-year-contract.

Pantsil-who featured in just five games at the King Power Stadium-says he told the club he wants a way out.

ā€œI will not hesitate to sign for a club from Russia or Asia if the opportunity comes,ā€ the former Fulham player said.

ā€œI cancelled my contract with Leicester City because there was no use sitting on the bench.ā€

Pantsil has also played for West Ham United and Hapoel Tel Aviv.
