Kingson set for Wigan exit

Wigan will let keeper Richard Kingson go - after he plays in the African Cup of Nations final in Ghana.

Kingson is now fourth choice with Latics and can find a new home to get some games in the run-up to the World Cup finals.

Boss Roberto Martinez will not stand in Kingson's way and said: "Richard's situation is difficult, he needs to play football for the next four months.

"You see how important he is to his country. He is a hero and we wish him well in the final. But it is a different style in the Premier League."
