Muntari heading for Russia?

New suitors have emerged for Sulley Muntari as Spartak Moscow join the chase for his signature.

The Udinese midfielder is a target for a number of Premiership clubs with Portsmouth trying to lure him to Fratton Park before the August transfer deadline.

Spartak are ready to meet the Udine side's asking price - ?10 million - for the Ghana international and a deal could be struck if the player agrees to head to Russia.

Tuttosport says Udinese directors will spend today discussing the bid and could give the green light to the deal this afternoon.
