Kwadwo Asamoah likely to re-sign for Juventus

All is set for Ghana international Kwadwo Asamoah to remain with Italian champions Juventus after coach Massimiliano Allegri hinted that the midfielder could be like a new signing in the coming season.

Asamoah has battled with injuries in the last two years but came back strongly towards the end of last season.

Multiple reports have linked the 27-year-old with a switch to dethroned English Champions Chelsea, but Allegri is bent on holding on to his prized asset.

The Ghanaian returned to pre-season last week and has shown an incredible desire to make it happen with the old ladies of Italian football.

With Paul Pogba likely to leave for a world record fee and reports of a possible signing of Gonzalo Higuain, Asamoah is one of the players that has been tipped to step up for Juventus in the coming season.

The versatility of the Ghanaian makes him a prized asset Allegri does not want to lose.
