August 2016 -- Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala have announced the signing of Ghana midfielder Mohammed Rabiu on a three-and-a-half year deal.

Anzhi Makhachkala confirmed his capture on the club’s official website on Tuesday.

It will be recalled that GHANASoccernet.com broke the news of the defensive midfielder’s move to the club back in July at the team’s pre-season camp in Austria.

The 24-year-old moved on a free transfer after playing three seasons with relegated Kuban Krasnodar where he played 57 matches in all competitions.
