Herbert Addo: I am happy for the point against Olympics

Herbert Addo has expressed that the goalless draw game between Hearts of Oak and Gt. Olympics on Sunday was a true reflection of the game.

The much hyped Accra derby lived to its billing, despite failing to produce any goal on Sunday at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium on match day 14 of the First Capital Plus Premier League.

The 63-year-old trainer has indicated that although he wished his side had carried the day, he is excited with the point secured against Gt. Olympics.

“Where we are at the moment we have to win win win, but as I said in the beginning the game was going to be very difficult, very very hard,” Herbert Addo said.

“We had chances in the first 15 minutes which we should have utilised, but we gave them the chance to come back into the game and they also created some chances in the second half which they couldn't utilise. It became a ding dong affair.

“I am happy with the point as far as the way the game went and I am hoping that in our next game we do better.”

Hearts of Oak are currently lying 10 on the league log and will travel to Obuasi to face league leaders Ashanti Gold at the Len Clay Sports Stadium in the mid-week to wrap up on the first round of the league.
