Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has described his goal against Livorno as a consolation for a difficult season in the Italian Serie A
The midfield enforcer was on target on Sunday afternoon as his Udinese side hosted Livorno in an entertaining game in the Italian Serie A.
Badu’s Udinese went behind in the 13 minute with Paulinho scoring the goal for the away side. Antonio Di Natale scored the leveler for the home side in the 19 minute before Badu took Udinese to a 2-1 lead.
“It’s been a very difficult season and this goal comes a real consolation for me personally, and also my team mates.
“We have been playing very well in all our matches, but things haven’t worked out the way we expected but all the same this game showed we still have the character to go all out to win matches.
‘I am sure next season will bring good fortunes to Udinese."
Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu played in the entire duration of the game against Livorno.
