Former Chairman of Accra Hearts of Oak Harry Zakkour has maintained that former captain of the Black Stars John Mensah is weak and should consider retiring to pave way for the young ones to take over.
According to him, John Mensah should retire and venture into business rather than stampeding the chances of upcoming talents in the national team.
Harry made this on GTV's Sunday Night Live Show, a sports current affairs programme hosted by Christopher Opoku.
John Mensah is too old and should consider hanging his boots and think of venturing into a lucrative business than forcing himself to play knowing very well that his time is past.
Speaking on the quality of Players invited to play ahead of Ghana's friendly with Montenegro on March 5 at the City Stadium in the capital Podgorica, he maintained that African players must refrain from reducing their age since it goes the long way to affect their performance.
The 31-year-old signed for FC Nitra in Slovakia last week.
