Donyoh revels in Europe success

On loan Manchester City striker Godsway Donyoh is content with his performance for Swedish side Djurgardens IF.

The 18-year-old moved from the Etihad Stadium to Tele2 Arena in January and has so far been impressive for the Allsvenskan side who are also chasing the Swedish Cup.

“This is my first professional season and I have got to start lots of games and have been doing well. So I am very impressed,” Donyoh told Goal Ghana.

“We have a great squad and we can go a step further and win the Swedish Cup this season after losing the finals last season and in the league we can also finish fourth if we win our remaining six games.”

Concerning his next step as he is not moving to Manchester City now because he will not be eligible for work permit, the budding striker stressed that he is prepared for anywhere.

“I don't have to avoid any club for now. So any club I will find myself in I just have to keep in the good work,” Donyoh stated.

Donyoh, who was groomed at the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana, has netted against the two biggest clubs in Sweden Hacken and Helsingborg this season.
