Espanyol manager Javier Aguirre says they are yet to find a replacement for Ghanaian midfielder Mubarak Wakaso who left the club this summer for Rubin Kazan
The Mexican believes he has the right materials for all his positions with the exception of the role left behind by Wakaso.
“We have missed out on Bruma Gama who has moved to Ukraine and a couple of other players,” Aguirre told Football Espana.
“It is very difficult to find a replacement for a great player like Wakaso but we are still looking into the market for good players who are on free transfer to sign.”
The 22-year-old decided left the Barcelona-based club weeks ago for a new adventure in Russia.
